The engineering management and systems engineering department seeks an exceptionally qualified leader with proven skills and experience commensurate with the academic management duties of a department chair. The candidate is required to have a strong publication record; demonstrated leadership skills to advance Missouri S&T toward R1 Carnegie University Classification status through research growth; evidence of effective teaching and commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level; experience conducting and fostering interdisciplinary research/education; and experience leading and mentoring students, staff, and faculty.

The Mathematics and Statistics Department at Missouri University of Science and Technology invites applications for a Kummer Endowed Professorship, with an anticipated start date of August 2023.
