Research Centers

The Kummer Institute established four research centers to support incubation, acceleration, commercialization and other research and development activities.

The centers will leverage connections with industry in order to focus learning and research in areas with economic and industry impact.

Center for Advanced and Resilient Infrastructure

The center will develop new approaches to rehabilitate and sustain the infrastructure that connects the businesses and communities that drive the Missouri economy.

Center for Resource Sustainability

The center will decrease the footprint of mineral and fuel extraction, increase access to clean drinking water, and leverage regional resources for resilient energy, water and materials utilization.

 

Center for Advanced Manufacturing

The center will facilitate advanced processes, materials, sensors and integrative workforce development techniques to enable next-generation manufacturing, spurring regional and national economic development.

The center will deploy the latest machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to advance the performance and intelligence of a range of robotic and autonomous solutions.
