The Kummer Institute established three research centers to support incubation, acceleration, commercialization and other research and development activities.
The centers leverage connections with industry in order to focus learning and research in areas with economic and industry impact. Plans for a fourth research center are under development.
The center will decrease the footprint of mineral and fuel extraction, increase access to clean drinking water, and leverage regional resources for resilient energy, water and materials utilization.
The center will facilitate advanced processes, materials, sensors and integrative workforce development techniques to enable next-generation manufacturing, spurring regional and national economic development.
The center will deploy the latest machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to advance the performance and intelligence of a range of robotic and autonomous solutions.
We are actively seeking industry partners to enhance our academic expertise with real-world know how in the critical areas of advanced manufacturing, AI and autonomous systems, infrastructure, and resource sustainability.
