The Kummer Institute builds on S&T’s 150-year heritage of excellence in science and engineering education and research with a future focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. The institute is already serving as the catalyst for the university’s next 150 years of excellence in many ways.
To maximize the benefits of the Kummer gift, S&T will seek investments from donors, corporate partners, research sponsors, consortia members, and state and federal government partners. The Kummer Institute has the potential to grow Missouri's GDP by $703 million over 10 years, and by more than $2 billion over 25 years.
